Eastside entered this game with confidence, having come back from a 27-0 win over Littlerock. The Lions hoped to pull an upset in this game, but the Royals had other plans.
Quartz Hill’s defense dominated their opponents, holding Eastside scoreless from start to finish. The Royals stopped multiple drives, forced turnovers, and shut down potential big plays. On offense, the team moved the ball efficiently with quick passes and fast running.

This game determined whether they would be able to tie for first place or secure second place in the League. But due to this flawless win, they were also placed first in Golden League. The Royals won their first round of CIF against Lancaster and are now advancing to round two.
