Hey there, Royals! My name is Aaron Limb, and I am so excited to serve as The Ubiquity’s Editor-in-Chief for the 2024 – 2025 school year! Just a little rundown of my job: I’ll be editing articles, helping out staff writers, approving everything on this website, and ensuring our entire student body gets their quarterly newspaper! Just a little bit about me, I enjoy watching chaotic Asian dramas and singing along to Hamilton in the shower. While I have been lacking time lately, I still try to find time to play online games with my old close friends. At school, you will see me active in QHHS’ Science Olympiad, Key Club, or Tennis Team! Outside of school, I play the violin in the WCC orchestra and am an assistant instructor at my Taekwondo Dojang! Don’t hesitate to say hi or talk with me if you ever see me around. I’m always open to meeting new people! Round 3, fight! (2/21 Update) Hey there, Royals! Junior year has been tiring, to say the least. Being in IB, I have seen the effects of burnout firsthand, especially when trying to take care of myself and balance my extracurriculars. But aside from that, I am terrified for the future that awaits. For most of my life, being stuck in a small bubble has made me feel scared of the vast world. Despite dreaming of moving out of the AV, maybe even across the country, part of me worries about the drastic change. Anyway… Enough of that. I still have another year, not to worry about that! I am so excited to provide you with TWO more quarterly newspapers and dozens more articles on this website. Also, look for videos and podcasts on our social media platforms

What’s up Royals!! I’m Blaise, the brand new Print Editor for The Ubiquity! That means that the physical copy of the newspaper that gets passed out each quarter is made by yours truly. I’m also on the marketing team once again, so I make most of our instagram posts! I’m very excited to be back on the Ubiquity team for a second year, and I can’t wait to create more articles for you all! Other than Honors Journalism, I’m also involved in a variety of other activities in school. I’m on the Division Leadership Team of our schools Key Club as one of our Social Media Coordinators! This means that I make a few of the social media posts for the divisions instagram account! I am also on our schools Folklorico dance team this year! Outside of school, I love to write books! I’m currently writing around ten, and (shameless plug incoming) I have an instagram account dedicated to my writing! (@blaise_books) I also enjoy baking in my free time, as well as read books. My current favorite thing to read is the A Good Girl’s Guide to Murder series by Holly Jackson (my favorite author)! (2/21 Update) While most people say their junior year was the worst, I honestly think this has been my favorite year of school yet. I may bite my words once SATs and AP exams come, but for now I’m living in ignorant bliss. I joined Folklorico at the beginning of this year, and I’m still on the team and I love it. I’ve performed a few times this year and each time it gets more exciting than the last. I think my favorite parts of this year are Folklorico and my ceramics class, they have risen quickly in terms of which hobbies I enjoy the most (though they will never overtake my love of reading and writing). At the time I’m writing this, I just registered for senior year classes last week. People may call me crazy for my plan, and I probably am, but…I’m going to try taking 5 AP classes next year. If we ignore that fact though, my other 4 classes are very fun and (hopefully) relaxing and easy. It seems stressful but I’m weirdly excited for next year. Maybe it’s because I’ll be a senior, maybe it’s because I love my classes already…I don’t know the exact reason, all I know is that I’m already prepping what supplies I want for next year.
