Hi! My name is Hailey Banegas, and this is my first year in journalism! It’s my first year in a yearbook class as well! It’s my second year on the QHHS Dance Team and my first year as a captain. I have always loved the aspects of newscasts or podcasts about my favorite hobbies. I also use writing, like poems, as a form of expressing myself. I’ve always been drawn to true crime videos or documentaries. I have been around the multimedia aspect since middle school. I had done about 2 years of photography, and a semester of editing my freshman year! I am also in love with nature. I gather a lot of inspiration from nature :). This year, my goal is to improve my writing skills and find ways to challenge myself.
