Hi, my name is Joseph Deocariza. If you were to talk to me, I would prefer to be called J.R., as I’ve been called that my whole life, and it’s what most people who know me say. This is my junior year and my first year of journalism. I hope to improve my writing and social skills. I play basketball and volleyball for the school and outside of it. As of now, though, I’m mainly focused on volleyball. As a person, I would say at first I am quiet and nervous to a person I first meet, but once I get to know you or get comfortable around you, I am talkative and outgoing.
