Hello, my name is Silas Contreras. This is my first year in journalism, although I’m a junior. Writing has piqued my interest since my freshman year, so I’m grateful to finally be in journalism. I’m a student-athlete here. I played for the QHHS soccer team for both my years and I plan on doing so for my junior and senior year. When I’m not playing for the school I play club soccer most of the time. I’ve been playing soccer since I was very young; whenever I was eligible to play for a real team. Soccer is my true passion I wish I can pursue in the future.
