As the season begins to transition to fall, most people are getting ready to rearrange their wardrobe in order to accommodate for the cooler weather. Fashion trends, of course, come and go. Some, like camouflage, are better staying dead and gone, never to see the light of day again. With these fall trends, your style integrity will be safe for this season at least.

When people think fall, they think cozy weather and cuddling with warm drinks. There is an array of options to choose from when bundling up, but stylish jackets and sweaters are a necessity.

Most people immediately go to flannels when thinking “fall fashion,” as they are warm, comfortable, and cute. It is time, however, to branch out from the oversized plaid shirts and explore new options.

Bomber jackets are making a huge comeback and most likely can be found in a style that fits your aesthetic. If they are not your thing, you might try a classic denim jacket, maybe with some embroidery accents to add a bit of personality, but be wary of making the rookie mistake of wearing denim on denim on denim.

Of course, the classic faux-leather jacket is also a viable option, especially if you want to channel your inner edgy teenage angst, and it can maybe even be paired with some matching boots. Jackets, although highly important, are not the only element of this fall’s trends.

Joggers have become wildly popular, as they allow the wearer to feel comfortable and lazy while still giving off a stylish air. You could wear a pair to sleep and then roll up to school in them and no one would suspect a thing.

Another option to keep your legs warm, but looking good, are straight leg cuffed or short length pants that cut above the ankle, to show off those cool new socks you just purchased. If you are feeling adventurous enough, you might even go for some corduroy bottoms for that extra warmth.

To top off the fall trends, some type of headwear is essential to have in your wardrobe. Baseball caps are a simple and easy way to pull together your fall aesthetic and are a great quick fix for bad hair days. Beanies are also a viable option to help complete your outfit.

Be wary with security, make sure they do not catch you wearing these fashionable hats at school otherwise they will snatch them from your head and throw your entire look off. If you want to wear a hat to school, you may consider purchasing a Quartz Hill hat. However, those hats clash with almost any article of clothing, so it is not recommended. Stay on top of these fall trends at your own risk.
