Hello readers, my name is John Streb, and I am a junior this year. This is my first year in Journalism, and I joined to practice and improve my writing. Some of my hobbies include playing sports with my brothers and friends, listening to rap or R&B music, and watching movies with my family. I enjoy many activities with my family, which includes my mom, dad, and two younger brothers. Some examples include playing board games, going on walks, or just talking with my family. With all of that being said, I look forward to a great junior year and time in Journalism!

February 4, 2026 Update

Hello, my name is John, and I am excited for another semester in Journalism. Some fun facts about me are that I love staying active, including running and other sports, and spending quality time with my family. My favorite genres are still rap and R&B, though I have begun listening to alternative and jazz. I really enjoyed my first semester in Journalism and feel like I’ve accomplished my goal of practicing my writing skills; however, there is always something new to learn. I hope to explore my interests and maybe try some new hobbies this year, but for now, I plan to continue writing for Arts and Entertainment, so be on the lookout for my articles on new music or albums!!
