Aden Wang, Copy Editor
Hello!
This is Aden, one of the opinion writers and copy editors of The Ubiquity! There’s a slim chance you’ve come across my articles before and wondered, “who is this strange writer with such strange opinions?” Well, that’s gotta be me! I have been a part of this journalism team for 3 years now, and I have written many articles on various topics up to this point. I’m also a senior now, so this is my last year at this school. Very exciting! Usually, I write about recent events or subjects I feel strongly about, such as upcoming holidays like Halloween and Thanksgiving, AP coursework post-exam, and driving uninsured. However, even with my enthusiasm for writing, Journalism is not a field I’d like to pursue, but I still want to encourage writers to join our team! Happy reading!
February 4, 2026 Update
Welcome Back!
It’s exciting and dreadful to know that there is less than half a year left in my high school career. As a writer, I’ve explored more grounded Opinion topics, such as ways to exchange gifts, the current state of mainstream news, and daylight savings time, which are topics a broader audience could comprehend. I’ve continued to dabble in my game creation interests and my existing hobbies, but recently I have become more interested in Minecraft, specifically RLCraft. With the spooky college decision results in March, life feels like it has slowed to a crawl as I await my fate. As I conclude my final year of Journalism, I would recommend any aspiring writer to join The Ubiquity! Happy Reading!
