What’s up, Royals? My name is Rocky Rudolph, and this is my first year in journalism. I’m excited to write articles and papers for the school to make sure everyone is informed and up to date. I’m a junior this year, and I’ve been at QHHS all three years! I joined journalism because I love writing, no matter the topic, and I want to improve my writing skills. I can’t wait for this year and the next.

I’m also in the school’s a cappella Choir class, and I sing in a (new) band called Hotline Valley! I love drawing and Nature, and I plan to become a marine biologist after high school. This year is going to be wonderful, and I can’t wait to hear about what’s coming next!

February 4, 2026 Update

What’s up, all my kings, queens, and monarchs! My name is Rocky Rudolph, and this is my first year as a staff writer in Journalism! I generally write A&E, focusing on up-and-coming games and media on the way, or on what’s already out. I’m in my junior year at QHHS, and I’m in ACappella Choir! I’ve sung at football games, rallies, and events in front of crowds! 

Outside of school, however, I love playing video games like Minecraft and Hollowknight or going on nature walks and exploring what’s around me. I love critters and bugs, and love collecting oddities like bones and framed beetles. I draw and am trying to learn how to sew, though I haven’t gotten very far. I’m super excited for the rest of the school year and to see what comes next, and I’m excited to share my interests with the rest of you!
