Hello, my name is Courtney Lyons! I am currently a Junior, exploring Journalism for the first time to find out what it is all about. My passion for storytelling, and writing has led me to pursue Journalism.

Other than Journalism, I have a love for baking, which I enjoy for personal satisfaction, and to spread joy to those around me. Sharing my baked goods with friends and family is my way of making them smile, and reminding them I care for them.

I am also dedicated to helping animals, through my volunteer work at an animal rescue, Community Effort Animal Rescue, I am able to do that. I personally own many animals, and have always had a yearning for helping and caring for them.

When I have time, I find enjoyment in playing video games. Video games help me spend time with my family, and unwind for the next day.
