Hey Royals, I’m Evelyn, and I’m returning for a second year of journalism and a second year of high school! This year, I am taking on The TV and Film Academy along with Journalism, and I look forward to participating in these fantastic classes! Last year, through journalism, I bettered my understanding of how to write effectively and in a way that entertains. This year, I hope to keep improving my writing and producing unique works for you.
Besides journalism, I enjoy hobbies like walking, playing video games, learning new instruments, and playing Dungeons & Dragons. This year, I’m the Dungeons & Dragons club’s treasurer; if you ever see me there, don’t be afraid to say hi! I love meeting new people, and while I am not the most talkative, I love listening. I believe this year will be fun and a whole new experience, and I can’t wait to write more excellent productions for you all to read.

Hey Royals! I’m Evelyn, a staff writer for the Ubiquity. I can’t wait to continue making articles and joining this incredible team. As a staff writer, I write many articles that you can see in our quarterly newspapers. Journalism has taught me so much about writing, and I am excited to finish my year strong in this class!
Besides journalism and writing, I love reading murder mystery novels and playing the drums. I’ve been trying to start a band and balance seven classes recently. Even with my booked schedule, I take time to go on hikes with my dogs and family to enjoy the outdoors.
At QHHS, I am a part of the TV and Film Academy where I have learned so much about the film industry and how to make fun projects. After school, you might see me rolling dice in our school’s Dungeons & Dragons club, where I am the treasurer.
