1. Mariah Carey’s “All I Want For Christmas Is You” is number one on today’s top Christmas songs. Throughout this cheery song, Carey uses bell chimes, back-up vocals, and an upbeat tempo to get you into the holiday spirit. The lyrics describe disinterest in presents and the thought of being with loved ones on this special holiday. This song received many positive reviews with some calling it one of the greatest, festive songs of all time. So curl up near the fireplace with your loved ones, grab some hot cocoa, and blast this song to make your holiday a cheerful one.

2. Brenda Lee’s “Rockin Around A Christmas Tree” falls at number two on today’s top Christmas songs. Ever since this song was released in 1958, it has remained a Christmas classic. The song fits into the rock-and-roll and pop genre, consisting of playful guitar riffs and a saxophone playing in the background. This upbeat song will literally make you want to get out of your seat and walk around the Christmas tree. This is her top hit song on her holiday album “A Brenda Lee’s Christmas,” but she also sings many other well known songs like “Santa Claus Is Coming To Town” and “White Christmas” that will get you in the holiday spirit.

3. “Jingle Bell Rock” by Bobby Helms is a definite holiday classic, perfect for sitting around the fireplace with a hot cocoa in hand. With a little bit of jazz, this song will get you up and dancing for the winter spirit. Helms released “Jingle Bell Rock” in 1957, and it has been one of the top Christmas songs ever since. As an American country music singer, Helms also has other hits such as “Fraulein” and “My Special Angel.” So get your Christmas jammies on, and turn up this piece to commence the holiday joy.

This American acapella group has worked together to create many harmonious songs. The band consists of five vocalists; Avi Kaplan, Scott Hoying, Kirstin Maldonado, Kevin Olusola, and Mitch Grassi. Each as talented as the other, they began on Youtube and captivated many all over the world. These hits have managed to capture the ears of over a billion people. If you are looking for a more pop Christmas tune, this is the way to go!
