Nelson Rios is a sophomore at QHHS. He is on the boys varsity swim team, and he said, “I am most excited about the upcoming season, and I hope to keep the winning streak alive.” Nelson is an honors student who is also taking two online classes. He is looking forward to catching up with all his friends at lunch and getting to know the students in all his classes.Nelson Rios

Kevin Flores, also a sophomore at QHHS, said, “I am most excited for doing ASB this year and talking to all my friends.” He is an AP student who is taking the AP Art History and AP Human Geography classes. I asked him about the worth of taking AP classes and he said, “AP takes a lot of time and effort in order to keep an A, but I am up for the challenge, and this will help me when I get to higher level college courses.” He was on the track team last year and looks to sign up again this year in order to be in shape. He said that, although this will be his most difficult Kevin Flores
year, it will hopefully be his most fun year as well.

David Rashmajyan, currently a sophomore at QHHS, said, “I am most excited to do tennis this year, and hang out with friends.” David is an AP student who is also taking AP Art History and AP Human Geography. He said, “I feel like Art History is going to be easier than last year, because we have less pieces of art that we have to analysis, and the cards are a lot easier. Human Geography will be a little harder because of all the memorization.” He is still very confident that he will get straight A’s.
As for tennis goes, David is looking forward to the upcoming season at the start of second semester and is trying his hardest to make varsity this year. David said, “Tennis is a sport I enjoy playing, but I really want to make varsity so I can play better people, and I will also get better along the way.” He also wants to do basketball this upcoming season but is not sure whether he will or not; he is still debating.David Rashmajyan
