The Ubiquity

Mia Ogebe
Hello mates! My name is Mia, and I’m part of the multimedia crew. I’m currently a junior student-athlete at Quartz Hill High School and am excited to join The Ubiquity staff. I like writing and I’m looking forward to improving & enhancing my writing skills as a first-year in the class. Outside of school, I enjoy playing tennis, bike riding, traveling, going to theme parks, collecting vinyl, and taking pictures of random stuff outside. I listen to a lot of music and really enjoy evaluating/analyzing it; more specifically, I enjoy 90’s R&B, alternative hip hop, neo-soul, jazz, funk, and the blues. If you ever see me around, feel free to give me any music recommendations or just say hello :)

9.28.20 Update

Hello again, mates! Though not much has happened since my last update, I have been staying busy with school work and extra activities. Online school has been a little hectic, but I’ve been trying to make the most out of the circumstances. The workload is way more than I expected and I’m actually looking forward to returning back to school. Also, I recently joined some new clubs outside of school, and I’m still training for the upcoming girls tennis season. Outside of school, I started learning how to skate with the help of some friends which has been pretty easy so far. Anyways, I hope all is well and that you’re taking care of yourself! :)
