Abbie Vilcapoma

Abbie Vilcapoma, Staff Writer

Hello, My name is Abbie Vilcapoma and I’m currently a sophomore at QHHS. This is my first year in Journalism. I’m excited to learn more about writing and to meet more people here in this small community at our school.

Some things I enjoy include being around my friends. Although I’m typically a quiet person I enjoy their presence and just hearing them talk to me in general. More things about me are: I'm taking AP classes this year (AP World History and AP Spanish). It'll definitely be a challenge but I’m really putting the effort into passing those two classes with good AP scores by the end of the year. I’m the oldest sibling to my younger brother and sister (my younger sister would be a freshman by the time I become a senior). Lastly, I’m multilingual. I'm fluent in English, Spanish, and almost completely fluent in Portuguese, thanks to my parents teaching me as a kid.

January 30, 2023 Update

Hello, my name is Abbie! I'm a 10th-grade student at QHHS. I enjoy trying new things and spending time with the people closest to me whenever I have the time. I usually find myself as a busy person always occupied with something. Usually, I'm swimming for school or doing school work, especially with my AP classes this year.

It will be nice to see how this year goes now that sophomore year is ending. Time to prepare for junior year!
