Lynn Lee, Multimedia Editor
Hi Royals, my name is Lynn Lee and I am your 2022-2023 multimedia editor for the QHHS Ubiquity! I joined Journalism my freshman year and started creating and editing videos for the QHHS Ubiquity during my sophomore year. Journalism is my favorite class, so I am beyond excited to produce more videos and content for The Ubiquity.
Outside of the hustle and bustle of Journalism, I’m just a regular high school senior. I cheerlead for the QHHS Cheer team, take IB courses, and am co-captain of the QHHS Tinikling team. Beyond school, I enjoy reading, spending valuable time with my friends, and painting.
I am ecstatic about this school year, and I hope you guys enjoy reading and watching our published content. Royals Rule!
January 30, 2023 Update
Four years ago, I entered a painted spider-man door that read, “With great power, there must also come great responsibility.” The painted door was the room of Mrs. Martinez, the honors Journalism teacher. From the beginning of my freshman year to what is coming to the end of my senior year, I went from a news staff writer, a multimedia staff member, and finally to multimedia editor. As multimedia editor, I realized the true importance of what is written on Mrs. Martinez’s door, “With great power, there must also come great responsibility,” by reviving the QHHS Ubiquity YouTube Channel after years and being the only video editor on Ubiquity (so far).
The Latin root word “grad” in graduation translates to “step.” In a few months, I will inevitably have to graduate as a student in the class of 2023 and have to “step” away from 7:45 A.M. Journalism classes. Ten years from now, I hope to search up “QHHS Ubiquity” and see videos that remind me of bittersweet high school memories. Thank you students for watching my first videos which were edited on my iPhone 7+ and continuing to watch my very mediocre videos. This is the very last update you will see of me ever, so I bid you farewell and wish you the best of luck with your high school years.
